from Seoul(A) to Pohang(B) it takes about 4~5 hours by car
when we arrived in Pohang we went for another drive to a place called Gyeongju, for hot spring and lunch (40 minute drive)
here goes some photos of a great restaurant called Kong-i-rang, which specialises in soybean products. (Kong means soy in Korean)
there were several set menues and they come with an enormous amount of side dishes (including a bowl of rice and hot soup)
i ordered kimchi tofu soup and it was yuummmmmmmmmm
and guess what?
one set menu is just 8,000 won!! (about $8)
the best deal ever. the quality of the food was excellent and you'll never find anything this cheap in Seoul! (It will be at least 12,000 won or if it's cheaper, the quality would probably be thumbs-down)
the restaurant was so popular we were put on a waiting list (5th on the list) but we only had to wait 5 minutes.
i recommend this restaurant to ANYONE who goes to Gyeongju!
Gyeongju is a really popular toursit site for its historical treasures so i recommend Gyeongju too :)
as i left the restaurant with my tummy about to burst, i found something interesting across the road: a sex museum.
called Sex Theme Park, LOVE CASTLE. lol!
my auntie and i were quite curious but i could see that my grandma, who would do anything for me, looked way too uncomfortable so we didn't go in.
oh well, next time. :P
will post some more Pohang entries later!
