S.S.S. (Shabbie's Summer Sanpo)

took shabz out for a walk and Hyeri joined us for the first time. but it was more like Shabz taking Hyeri and me out for a walk.... i had no control of where she went.
anyway Hyeri took some really beautiful photos of Shabz!

Cafe Cook and Book revisited

my friend Yukochan visited me from Japan on her way to London. She is now in London for an exhibition of her weaving work! I took her to Cook and Book, a cafe I blogged about before

I was too excited to see the food I didn't even know Yukochan was taking a photo of me.

soy cheesecake and soy pudding. soy yum.

Five Tables in Hapjeong

Went to Five Tables in Hapjeong with mum & sister
It's a very small & cosy pasta place with just five pretty tables

Everything we ordered tasted excellent, including the free pieces of bread for entrée

loved the home-cooked feel

Mika in Seoul (in September..)

Like I mentioned 3 months ago very briefly I went to Mika's concert yaaaaaaay
I danced the night away (with Hyeri) in my new shoes and i ended up with many many blisters but it was all worth it!

here are some photos:

Hyeri might have started dancing even before the concert began.

the stage design was impressive

and some video clips:

It was an excellent way to spend a summer night.

where all the cats are

Hyeri my studybuddy and I went to a cafe.. full of cats.
It's called 양이양이 (yang-i yang-i) and is located in Gangnam.
We talked about going there a few weeks ago and finally decided to do it (and I'm really glad we did!)

So this cafe is literally full of cats.. I saw nearly 20 cats (or more?) playing around and busily licking their private parts.
I think some of them are owned by the staff, and others used to be strays.

so first you need to change into the slippers they provide, to prevent outside dirt from getting in. You also need to wash your hands before handling the cats.
You are required to pay 8,000 won (just a bit less than USD$8), and that covers one drink. There are coffee drinks or teas, juice and green tea latte.

and then the adorable cats are all yours!(but i must say, they do take their time before they approach you no matter how much weird noises you make)
