This cafe organises vegan baking classes and the owner also publishes vegan cook books.
here is a pretentious photo of us studying
the interior:
the bookshelf had lots of magazines from all around the world and quite a number of Korean novels.
there was also an entire section dedicated to one of my favourite Japanese magazines, Come Home:
and here's what we ate. we stayed there for almost 5 hours so I hope that justifies how much we ate.
1) Snowflakes with sweet red bean paste, roasted grain powder and small bits of ricecake. Called Bingsu in Korea, it's a highly popular summer treat :)
2) Brownie with cherry sauce
and then an hour later we went on to main meals.
3) Pita bread sandwich and 4)tomato sauce toast with lettuce
the price ranged from 7500~8500 won ($7.5-8.5) for main meals. The brownie was 4000won and the snowflake was 7500.
Too many good books and magazines to read, but perhaps it's not the perfect place to study because of the great distraction. unless you have a strong willpower.
I'm definitely adding this to my vegan cafe list though! :)
