turning 1 is considered one of the biggest events in Korea, and people often rent a hall or a room somewhere (usually a hotel) and invite loads of people to celebrate. It's normally a formal event, where guests dress up as well.
Last Sunday my cousin's baby was all dressed up in his cute little suit to greet everyone, and after lunch he changed into his Korean traditional costume. He looked beeeautiful.
and he was very tired after a long afternoon.
time for a nap.
