that's the way things are

i know it's a big stereotypical comment I'm about to make
but people tend to stick to their own racial groups
not everyone but some
and i understand that there's something very comforting about your own race
like less cultural difference language barrier
like something tribal
but i find it interesting that animals do the same thing
again, not all but some

a worthy salt attack

my boyfriend and i made pizza today
with sun-dried tomato anchovies olives salami mushroom cheese garlic
it was better than it looked
we kept mmmm-mming as our pizza became smaller
but towards the end we were chewing in silence
as we tried to fight off the saltiness
it's been 2 hours since we finished the pizza
and i've gone into the kitchen to fill up my 600ml water bottle
more than 7 times

water please, water
